Poem LET GO, LET GO.
Thoughts scattered here and there,
My mind searches for answers a thousand times over.
Rocking back and forth,
My emotions collapse like a tidal wave.
Silently floating away,
My aspirations diffuse into the sorrow of this world.
Trembling from within, the tension rises to it's apogee, pulling me in different directions at the same time.
The fear creeps up from nowhere, suffocating my feeble soul.
Seeking to be still
Seeking to quiet my mind
Seeking to be content
Seeking to be free.
Aspiring to be at peace
Aspiring to let go of sorrow
Aspiring to accept what I cannot change
Aspiring to accept the truths that I now realise.
Struggling to overcome hurt and pain,
Struggling to let love in,
Struggling to be still, to be calm.
Let the light of peace illuminate my mind, heart and soul.
Let me be still,
Let me understand why the horizon is infinite and to accept it.
Let me inhale knowledge and exhale understanding.
To let go, Oh, to let go.
